HMLR Plymouth – Net Zero Project

As part of the Government’s Net Zero programme, SOL Services upgraded the lighting system at HMLR Plymouth to significantly reduce energy consumption and costs, while modernising the building’s facilities.

The project involved replacing outdated T5 light fittings with Luceco LED Platform fittings, which feature wireless Bluetooth connectivity.
This innovative system allows the client to control individual lights and adjust light levels, providing tailored solutions for specific areas.

The Luceco Platform transforms existing lighting installations into a simple and efficient wireless communication system. Features such as dimming, scene-setting, presence detection, and daylight control contribute to significant energy savings and operational cost reductions, while creating a comfortable and well-lit environment.

Designed as a retrofit solution, the Platform enables quick, cost-effective upgrades for areas such as offices, corridors, and conference rooms. The project demonstrates SOL Services’ commitment to supporting sustainable and energy-efficient solutions within government properties.
